NEW 2024 Flashforge 3D Printers Leaked
A little while ago Flashforge released a 2024 roadmap image sharing what to expect from them this year. This image included 5 new products under the FDM Category.
Yep that's right not one or two or even 3 but 5 new products. Let's dive into what I think these 5 new products may be.
Now the first thing you'll notice is that there are two products titled AD5M NG and AD5M Pro NG. Which likely means that these are new generation printers of the existing 5M series with some slight changes, and in my opinion I think these slight changes will be multi-colour compatibility.
Previously in my Flash Maker & Orca-Flashforge Setup video I highlighted a Material Station section in Orca-Flashforge under the device tab. Well since I've uploaded that video Flashforge have released an update for the software which has now removed it. Which unfortunately I think, that this means we will not be getting a multi-colour solution for the Adventurer 5M and 5M Pro but this new material station will be for the New Generation 5M series printers just accidentally leaked early.
I hope I'm wrong and that the material station will be backwards compatible like Creality's new CFS is but based on what I've just mentioned I think we might be out of luck.
Now the M1 printer I think will either be 1 of 2 printers. Either a 300mm cubed core xy printer with multi-colour capabilities to compete with Creality and Bambu Lab or it could be a multi-head printer as Flashforge have a great track record with dual head printers. There was also a post in the Facebook Group chat earlier this year asking if we would be interested in a $20 upgrade kit for an unreleased printer allowing you to add another print head for multi-colour printing.
Which I think would be a very interesting printer.
The M2 I honestly have no clue on, it could either be an even bigger printer, a new guider series or creator series printer or it could be the multi-head printer if the M1 printer turns out to be the large 300mm cubed printer.
Lastly the TBA product I think may not even be a printer. It could just be the material station which is why it is located between the 5M and 5M Pro New Generation Printers.
